Market Development Representative Job Responsibilities

  • Support Account Executives in researching and prospecting to ensure a steady flow of qualified opportunities.
  • Maintain daily activity metrics, including making 30-50 calls per day.
  • Achieve and surpass monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
  • Receive comprehensive training in strategic selling with a focus on penetrating targeted accounts.
  • Serve as an Account Manager for small to medium-sized customers in the designated territory.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing teams to employ territory-specific strategies.
  • Leverage CRM and LinkedIn to conduct detailed account research and engage with prospective customers.

Qualifications

  • Significant inside sales experience with a proven track record in prospect qualification.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage quotas and metrics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Highly motivated and self-starting attitude.
