Field Service Technician Job Responsibilities


  • Maintain, service, repair, and install customers’ equipment, including air compressors, vacuum systems, blowers, and controls.
  • Review work orders and prepare necessary tools, parts, and equipment for service calls.
  • Load company vehicles with required supplies and travel to customer locations.
  • Interact with customers professionally, providing exceptional service and resolving any issues.
  • Perform pre- and post-call administrative tasks, such as updating work order notes, completing time cards, and managing inventory/parts used.
  • Work with a diverse range of products, including standard and custom-built compressors, oil-free and conventional pumps, hydraulics, rotational, reciprocating, and centrifugal systems, as well as electronic controls and variable speed drives.

Qualifications


  • Trainee: Demonstrated mechanical ability and a passion for learning and growing in the field.
  • Experienced: Previous field experience working with compressors, pumps, controls, or similar equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
