[Controls] Sales Representative | $90K-$105K DOE

Location: Kent, WA

Our client’s company specializes in wrap-around control services, including controls, commissioning, programming, and calibrations. They are currently seeking a Sales Representative to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the company’s growth and expansion.

As a Sales Representative, you will work closely with the owner, identifying potential clients, providing quotes, and performing light project management duties. This is an exciting opportunity to sell and service clients along the west coast, particularly in the medical and dental industries.

Controls Sales Representative Job Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect potential clients in the medical and dental industries along the west coast.
  • Collaborate with the owner to develop and deliver quotes for control services.
  • Perform light project management duties, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to effectively communicate the value of the company’s services.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.


  • 4-8 years of experience in Building Controls and Sales.
  • Proficiency in Distech, Tridium, and Automated Logic systems.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
