[Industrial Equipment] Sales Executive | $125K-$150K OTE

Location: Northern New Jersey

Our client, a leading global supplier in the realms of Industrial Equipment; specifically compressors, vacuum solutions, generators, pumps, power tools, and assembly systems, is looking for a Sales Executive in Northern New Jersey. This is a company with an attractive culture, they have experienced leadership, structured operations, promote from within and have extremely low turnover – boasting an average employment over 20 years.

This role is pivotal in prospecting, establishing relationships and selling to Food, Beverage and Industrial manufacturing, hospitality, mining, oil and gas. It would be ideal if this person already had relationships with OEMs, manufacturers, distributors, hospitality (restaurants, casinos, hotels, etc) and healthcare facilities.

Industrial Sales Executive Job Responsibilities

  • Prospect, grow number of accounts in a regional
  • Target and develop relationships with OEMs, distributors, contractors, and direct sales clients.
  • Sells both capital equipment and warrantees / service maintenance of that equipment
  • Maintain and update client information using SalesForce/CRM software.


  • Minimum of 3 years’ successful prospecting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical field, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Strong sales, interpersonal & communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with efficient time management and organizational skills.

Compensation will be competitively in the $65K – $75K range DOE, and includes an attractive, employer paid Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, & PTO package with an Annual Bonus and Car Allowance package.

Relocations will be considered.
