[Medical Supplies] Business Development Representative | $100K-$150K OTE

Our client, a leading provider of first aid equipment, supplies, and facilities, is seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Representative to join their team. This role offers the flexibility to work from a home office after completing training, focusing on engaging larger companies across various sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling a comprehensive range of OSHA-required products, including first aid cabinets, kits, eyewash stations, and related supplies. This position is not about passive sales tactics but requires a consultative and transactional approach, emphasizing the total benefits of the service provided.

Business Development Representative Job Responsibilities

  • Proactively call on larger companies, selling first aid cabinets, kits, eyewash stations, and other OSHA-required products.
  • Employ a consultative and transactional sales approach, focusing on the value and benefits of the services and products offered.
  • Achieve a closing ratio of 50%, with a target of adding 8 accounts per month..
  • Engage with various decision-makers, including owners, presidents, safety managers, to close contracts effectively.


  • Strong background in B2B sales, with a demonstrated ability to self-organize and self-motivate.
  • Experience in planning and executing sales strategies, selling to all levels within customer organizations.
  • Preference for candidates with contract sales experience (service, linen, maintenance, staffing companies, etc.), avoiding backgrounds in SAAS or pharmaceutical sales.
  • Creative hunter mentality, adept at identifying business opportunities and key decision-makers.
  • Ability to conduct in-depth sales conversations, manage objections, and represent the company professionally.
  • Assertive yet respectful approach in sales, with a focus on achieving results.
