We are excited to represent a rapidly growing client that specializes in electronic access control, video surveillance, intrusion alarm systems, fire/life safety systems, IP-based intercoms, mass notification, gunshot detection, and other integrated technology solutions. Our client is seeking a Lead Account Executive, their highest-level individual contributor position, responsible for owning and exceeding personal revenue targets. This role is a unique opportunity for an elite producer who also has the character and discipline to elevate those around them. You will carry your own book of business with full accountability to personal revenue targets while serving as a force multiplier for the broader sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Own and exceed personal revenue targets through disciplined prospecting, pipeline management, and closing activity.
- Generate leads through cold-calling, networking, referrals, marketing partnerships, and industry relationships.
- Build and grow relationships with General Contractors, Electrical Contractors, mid-size to enterprise commercial clients, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and state/local government entities.
- Effectively present and sell the client’s range of security and technology solutions.
- Partner with estimators to develop and deliver compelling, customized proposals.
- Maintain a high closing rate on both self-generated and company-provided leads.
- Lead and develop the sales team, setting the standard through personal production and professional conduct.
- Conduct regular ride-alongs and field coaching sessions with junior Account Executives to sharpen skills.
- Assist leadership in the onboarding of new sales hires — sharing best practices, market knowledge, and sales methodology.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records including activity logs, pipeline stages, bid status, and projected close dates.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a demonstrated track record of consistent quota attainment.
- Hunter mentality — self-directed, proactive, and capable of building a pipeline from the ground up without relying on inbound leads.
- Deep, intuitive understanding of the relationship between daily activity, pipeline volume, bid count, and closed revenue.
- Proven ability to manage a complex, multi-touch sales cycle across accounts of varying size.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; exceptional attention to detail.
- Professional presence and polished communication skills — written, verbal, and in formal presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
- Valid Driver License and clean driving record.
- Experience in the security, fire alarm, or low voltage integration industry is preferred.
- Prior experience mentoring or informally leading peers in a sales environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial construction channels and contractor relationships is preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
