CNC Lathe Machinist | $32-$42/hr

Location: Seattle, WA


Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join their team. The successful candidate will have the ability to set up, program, and run parts on large and medium sized lathes with Okuma and Fanuc controls.

In this job shop and R&D environment, the ideal candidate will be able to “program on the fly” and have a strong understanding of how different materials react and relieve during cutting. Experience with a wide range of materials, including plastic, aluminum, bronze, carbon steel, tool steel, titanium, Inconel, Monel, and stainless steel, is a must. Knowledge of feeds and speeds for heat treated materials is also important.

The successful candidate will be conscientious and take pride in their work, with a focus on achieving first time accuracy and world class quality. Knowledge of G codes and measuring and inspection equipment is also preferred.
