Our client is a respected commercial mechanical contractor serving the Puget Sound region, specializing in HVAC design-build projects. They partner directly with building owners, developers, architects, and general contractors to deliver innovative mechanical systems from concept through completion — offering a full benefits package to their team members.
As their project portfolio continues to grow, our client is seeking an experienced HVAC Design-Build Estimator / Project Manager to take a leading role in driving projects from preconstruction through successful execution. This is a key position that blends technical expertise with client-facing responsibility, making it central to the organization’s continued growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Prepare conceptual and detailed HVAC estimates for design-build projects.
- Review plans, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, architects, and general contractors during project development.
- Develop budgets, schedules, and project execution plans.
- Manage projects from award through closeout.
- Oversee subcontractors, vendors, procurement, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Monitor project costs, schedules, and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC estimating, project management, or design-build experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial mechanical systems.
- Experience with estimating software and project management processes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
