HVAC Estimator / Project Manager

Compensation: $120K-$160K DOE
Location:   Monroe, WA

Our client is a respected commercial mechanical contractor serving the Puget Sound region, specializing in HVAC design-build projects. They partner directly with building owners, developers, architects, and general contractors to deliver innovative mechanical systems from concept through completion — offering a full benefits package to their team members.

As their project portfolio continues to grow, our client is seeking an experienced HVAC Design-Build Estimator / Project Manager to take a leading role in driving projects from preconstruction through successful execution. This is a key position that blends technical expertise with client-facing responsibility, making it central to the organization’s continued growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare conceptual and detailed HVAC estimates for design-build projects.
  • Review plans, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with owners, engineers, architects, and general contractors during project development.
  • Develop budgets, schedules, and project execution plans.
  • Manage projects from award through closeout.
  • Oversee subcontractors, vendors, procurement, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Monitor project costs, schedules, and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial HVAC estimating, project management, or design-build experience.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial mechanical systems.
  • Experience with estimating software and project management processes.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
