[Mechanical Construction] Project Sales Representative

Compensation: $90K-$100K DOE

Location:   Portland, OR

Our client is a renowned company in the HVAC, Plumbing, and Building Automation sector. They are currently seeking a passionate Project Sales Representative to join their team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven Project Sales Representative who is passionate about building relationships, solving complex challenges, and delivering high-value mechanical solutions for commercial and industrial clients. In this role, you will identify project opportunities, develop tailored HVAC and mechanical system proposals, and drive growth across a dynamic portfolio.

Project Sales Job Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company growth objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new construction and retrofit project opportunities within the commercial and industrial sectors.
  • Conduct prospecting activities including cold calls, site visits, and client presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Understand and communicate the technical aspects of HVAC systems and mechanical construction projects.
  • Collaborate with engineering, estimating, and project management teams to develop tailored project solutions.
  • Prepare and present detailed project proposals, cost estimates, and contracts.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and project pipeline in CRM system.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in HVAC sales, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
