In Shop Diesel Technician | $45K-$60K + Bonus

They are committed to offering the best equipment and services and are currently seeking multiple Diesel Technicians to join their team.

The right candidate will be focused on “Yellow Iron” mechanics and have experience with heavy and compact equipment like excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, etc. This role is vital to ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and professional service.

Diesel Technician Job Responsibilities


  • Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment for various heavy and compact machines.
  • Performing repairs on equipment such as excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, and more.
  • Scheduling maintenance work based on customer needs and requirements.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by responding in a timely, polite, and professional manner.
  • Meeting or exceeding departmental objectives through diligent work and attention to detail.
  • Collaborating with other service technicians and support staff to provide the best solutions.

Qualifications


  • Experience working on heavy and compact equipment (referred to as “Yellow Iron” mechanics), such as excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, etc.
  • Must have experience with diesel engines and hydraulics.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in both mechanical and electrical domains.
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Proven track record of performing timely repairs and maintenance.
  • A commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards.
