Industrial Inside Sales Representative | $25-$32/hr

Inside Sales Representative Job Responsibilities


  • Handle an average of 30-50 incoming calls per day from customers primarily in the marine, food, and other manufacturing industries.
  • Answer customer inquiries, provide product information, and assist with placing orders to meet their specific needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with established customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Follow up with customers via phone and email to provide updates, gather feedback, and nurture long-term relationships.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products to existing customers.
  • Stay knowledgeable about the company’s product catalog, including their uses, applications, and customer base.
  • Contribute to the company’s growth by expanding the client list and attracting new business from the food and manufacturing sectors.

Qualifications


  • In-depth knowledge of industrial products, including their uses, applications, and customer requirements.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and provide exceptional service.
  • Smart and steady approach to handling a high volume of incoming calls, maintaining professionalism and attentiveness to customer needs.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with customers, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to succeed in a dynamic and growing sales environment.
  • Previous experience in inside sales or customer service, preferably in the industrial product distribution sector.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
