Diesel Field Service Technician | $35-$40/hr DOE

Our client, a key provider of a comprehensive range of equipment including scissor lifts, boom lifts, various types of vehicles, trailers, and earth-moving equipment, is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician. This role is essential for maintaining and servicing equipment across a broad spectrum, covering a wide radius around Camas, WA.

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and service of equipment located on customer job sites, ensuring optimal performance and safety. This position is ideal for someone with diesel mechanic experience, a knack for technical repairs, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Diesel Mechanic Job Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and service on a variety of equipment at customer job sites.
• Maintain service vehicles, tools, and parts to the required standards.
• Stock and maintain service trucks efficiently.
• Keep accurate and complete records of all work performed.
• Coordinate with the Store Manager for future service needs of equipment.
• Conduct thorough safety inspections on field equipment.
• Manage multiple tasks effectively and work independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Diesel Mechanic experience.
• CDL A/B is preferred but not mandatory.
• Technical repair knowledge of a wide range of equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and self-motivation.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record for the past 3 years.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and adapt to varying physical activities such as standing (55%), walking (30%), and sitting (15%).
