[Commercial Lighting] Outside Sales Representative | $100K-$150K OTE
Location: Remote
Our client, a leading provider of lighting solutions for residential, multifamily, and commercial applications, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join their team.
As an Outside Sales Rep, you will play a crucial role in the selling process, from initial contact to ensuring accurate and timely product delivery. This is a remote position, with the option to utilize office space if desired.
Lighting Outside Sales Job Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities by prospecting and building relationships with architects, contractors, builders, and designers.
- Collaborate with clients on the design aspect of lighting projects.
- Serve as the main point of contact throughout the sales process, providing exceptional customer service.
- Leverage your own contacts and actively hunt for new business opportunities.
- Work closely with the in-house marketing/business development manager to generate leads.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
- Previous experience in the lighting industry or similar client base is highly beneficial.
- Ability to bring a “book of business” and/or existing contacts within the industry is advantageous.
- Proven track record in sales, with the ability to effectively sell products and services.
- Self-motivated and driven to exceed sales targets.
