Group Benefits Producer
Compensation: $80K-$150K OTE
Location: Seattle, WA
Our client is a well-established company specializing in Employee Benefits, Commercial and Group 401k lines of Insurance. They offer an excellent remuneration package that includes paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401k plan with a match. The successful candidate will join the Group Benefits division, playing a crucial role in the generation of new business and ensuring the company’s continued growth.
Group Benefits Producer Job Responsibilities
- Bring a minimum of 2 years independent agency experience, specifically selling Group Benefits.
- Generate prospects through various channels: Cold calls, walk-ins, Centers of Influence, networking using Association Groups.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of WA Healthcare laws, Cobra, Compliance, etc.
- Re-start OR investment producers are welcome to apply.
- This role may report to either a Seattle or Tacoma office.
Qualifications
- Stable work history with no frequent job changes.
- Must bring 2+ years of independent agency experience, specifically selling Group Benefits.
- Experience in generating your own prospects using: Cold calls, walk-ins, Centers of Influence, networking using Association Groups.
- Re-start OR investment producers are encouraged to apply.
- Must be able to meet a minimum threshold of $5,000 in Revenue. Lesser amounts will only be paid a first-year commission, no residual.
- The successful candidate will be prospecting and hunting for Small & Middle Market Business, writing fully, level and self-funded business.
