[Industrial Pumps] Territory Manager | $70K-$75K DOE

Location: Seattle, WA

Our client, a prominent distributor of hydraulic and automation components and systems, as well as a provider of hoses, fittings, instrumentation, lubrication, and filtration products, is on the lookout for a dynamic Territory Manager to cover the greater Puget Sound area.

This hunter/farmer combo role is ideal for a candidate who excels in both acquiring new business and nurturing existing relationships. The successful applicant will sell a comprehensive range of power transmission pumps, valves, hoses, fittings, filtration, lubricants, and more to a diverse client base that includes farmers, purchasing agents for OEMs, military, mining, aerospace, and mainly industrial and marine accounts.

Industrial Territory Manager Job Responsibilities


  • Actively sell and promote a wide array of hydraulic, pneumatic, filtration, electromechanical technology, fluid & gas handling, process control, and sealing & shielding products.
  • Manage and grow a diverse book of business, tending to the stock, supply, and needs of established accounts.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with a range of customers, from purchasing agents and engineers to end users, ensuring their product needs are met efficiently.
  • Process orders and, when necessary, personally deliver products to customers to fulfill urgent requirements.
  • Utilize a relational sales style to effectively communicate product value and benefits at all levels of customer interaction.

Qualifications


  • Strong relational sales style, with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Mechanical orientation and a solid understanding of the products being offered, especially familiarity with R-H brand products.
  • Self-motivated individual with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to navigate a diverse client base, providing tailored solutions to meet a wide range of needs.
