[Industrial Equipment] Account Manager | $80K-$150K OTE

Location: El Paso, TX

Our client, a leading global supplier in the realms of compressors, vacuum solutions, generators, pumps, power tools, and assembly systems, is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their dynamic team.

This role is pivotal in catering to various industries such as manufacturing, construction, mining, oil and gas. Situated in the Greater El Paso area, particularly the El Paso Metro region, the successful candidate will be instrumental in managing and expanding the company’s customer base, focusing on OEMs, distributors, contractors, and direct sales.

Industrial Account Manager Job Responsibilities


  • Manage and grow sales of compressor systems, particularly those with 124 horsepower and below.
  • Target and develop relationships with OEMs, distributors, contractors, and direct sales clients.
  • Utilize support from marketing personnel for prospecting and appointment setting.
  • Coordinate with the North Carolina yard for equipment storage and ensure timely delivery (approximately one week) to clients.
  • Apply strategic sales techniques to effectively cover the designated territory.
  • Maintain and update client information using SalesForce/CRM software.
  • Execute PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle for continuous improvement in account management.

Qualifications


  • Minimum of three years’ successful experience in industrial sales, preferably in equipment and services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical field, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Strong selling, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with efficient time management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in SalesForce/CRM and PDCA methodology.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet physical demands of the role (lifting up to 25 lbs.).
  • English literacy with competency in technical communication.
  • Commitment to safety training and a growth mindset.
  • Resilience and ability to conduct cold calling and prospecting.
