Our client, a world behemoth in the higher tech compressed air, power, steam, and nitrogen equipment and service industry, is seeking a Compressor Sales Executive to join their team. They are especially known for their expertise in higher-tech pumps and non-oil lubed compressors necessary for natural gas and food manufacturing. Our client offers great benefits and a cost of living raise every year.
The successful candidate will have industrial equipment sales experience and will live in Ventura, where 80% of our client’s business is. The role includes selling 124 horsepower compressors and below, with target clients being OEMs, distributors, contractors, and direct sales. 10% of the business comes out of Santa Barbara and 10% from San Luis Obisbo.
Compressor Sales Executive Job Responsibilities
- Selling 124 Horsepower Compressors and Below to target clients such as OEMs, Distributors, Contractors and direct sales
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients
- Identifying new sales opportunities
- Participating in sales and trade shows
- Collaborating with internal teams to deliver solutions to clients
- Providing after-sales support
- Industrial Equipment Sales experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Familiarity with Salesforce and MS Outlook
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of the compressed air, power, steam, and nitrogen equipment and service industry is a plus.
