Outside Sales Representative

Compensation: $75K+ OTE

Location:   Seattle, WA

Our client, a leading provider of comprehensive janitorial services, is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join their team. The company offers a range of services including window cleaning, post-construction cleaning, pressure washing, high dusting, floor care services, and more. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding the company’s commercial accounts in the North Seattle territory.

Outside Sales Job Responsibilities


  • Prospecting and generating new business through cold outreach, networking, and referrals.
  • Scheduling meetings and conducting site walks / walkthroughs.
  • Gathering square footage, scope, frequencies, and expectations to create accurate bids.
  • Building and delivering proposals; following up consistently to close.
  • Tracking pipeline and activity (CRM/spreadsheets as used).
  • Collaborating with operations to ensure scopes are realistic and accounts launch smoothly.
  • Maintaining strong client communication during onboarding to drive retention and referrals.

Qualifications


  • Minimum of 2+ years of B2B outside sales experience (experience in janitorial, facility services, construction services, building products, or similar is a plus).
  • Confidence in quoting/bidding and comfort with learning production rates and scope building.
  • A strong hunting mindset: able to self-generate leads and stay persistent.
  • Professional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily in the North Seattle territory.
  • Organized: can manage multiple bids/opportunities at once and follow through.

  • Consistent outbound activity and booked meetings weekly.
  • Accurate bids that win business and set operations up for success.
  • New recurring contracts signed and smoothly onboarded.
  • Strong customer experience that generates referrals and repeat work.
