Compensation: $60K-$80K OTE

Our client is a prominent distributor in the realm of sustainable packaging, consumables, corrugated & printed packaging, food packaging, industrial packaging, moving and storage, and machinery. They offer employer-paid medical, dental, vision, and 401k benefits, along with a company car. As a crucial part of their organization, the Sales Representative will play an essential role in maintaining and expanding the company’s customer base.
Sales Representative Job Responsibilities
- Support coverage of assigned accounts and/or an assigned geography
- Understand and achieve sales targets and sales objectives
- Familiarize with products such as: Corrugated, Flex, Litho packaging as well as sustainable packaging as well as industrial and consumable products like tapes, films, adhesives and packaging machinery and automation solutions
- Work with vendor representatives, customer specifications, and material approvals through conducting joint sales
- Develop strong relationships and influence customers and prospects
- Understand customer business priorities and manufacturing processes
- Utilize solution-based selling skills
- Manage business planning and execution process
- Hunt for new business and service a small (starter) book of business
- Customize territory for Western WA, Eastern WA, OR and AK
- Potentially inherit business from a retiring rep within the next year or two, however the goal is to build their own book of business
Qualifications
- Self-generates their own leads, has experience consulting on packaging products / needs assessments, sets their own appointments and closes their own deals
- Consultative sales experience
- Has 2+ years selling Corrugated or Flex packaging, as well as diverse industrial or consumable packaging
- The territory is WA, OR & AK
- Potentially inherit some business from a retiring rep within the next year or two, the goal is to build their own book of business
