[HVAC] Commercial Account Executive | $120K-$180K OTE

Location: Woodinville, WA

Our client, a prominent design-build and full-service provider specializing in mechanical and plumbing building systems, is on the lookout for a Commercial Account Executive in the Pacific Northwest. This role is centered around the Mechanical sector, encompassing Plumbing, Piping, and HVAC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing profitable bids for upcoming projects and identifying new sales opportunities in commercial project sectors. The company is highly focused on mid-sized structures, up to 7 stories, with a keen interest in the healthcare and biotech sectors.

This position demands an individual with strong interpersonal skills, a proactive, achievement-oriented approach, self-motivation, adept problem-solving abilities, and excellent organizational skills. Aligning with the company’s core values of safety, honesty, respect, innovation, and collaboration is essential. The territory for this role includes the Eastside and Bremerton areas.

HVAC Account Executive Job Responsibilities


  • Develop profitable bids for mechanical (plumbing, piping, HVAC) projects.
  • Identify and pursue new commercial project sales opportunities, particularly in healthcare and biotech sectors.
  • Utilize strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Apply a proactive and achievement-oriented approach to all tasks.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and adept problem-solving abilities.
  • Organize and manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Qualifications


  • 3-5 years of experience in selling to general contractors, with a focus on the HVAC and plumbing sectors.
  • Understanding of HVAC and plumbing estimating.
  • Background in mechanical systems, particularly in plumbing and HVAC.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant experience or a combination of education and experience in the field.
