Industrial Outside Sales Representative

Compensation: $100K+ OTE
Location:   Kent, WA

Our client is a well-established industrial distribution company offering a comprehensive portfolio of products including adhesives (including medical-grade), tapes, abrasives, safety supplies, and MRO solutions — serving manufacturers across a wide range of industries. Known for their deep product expertise and customer-first approach, they provide industrial solutions that keep manufacturing operations running efficiently and safely.

They are seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow a territory covering Everett and the North Puget Sound region, with potential reach into British Columbia. This is a hunter/relationship hybrid role (50/50) — equally focused on winning new business and nurturing existing accounts. This position plays a critical role in driving regional revenue growth and deepening relationships within key manufacturing markets including medical device, aerospace, and general manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business accounts within the Everett and North Puget Sound territory
  • Manage and grow an existing book of accounts through consultative, relationship-driven selling
  • Call on manufacturers across target verticals, including:
    • Medical device manufacturers
    • Aerospace companies
    • General manufacturing firms
  • Sell a full portfolio of industrial products including:
    • Adhesives (including medical-grade)
    • Tapes and abrasives
    • Safety and MRO supplies
  • Conduct in-person meetings, product demonstrations, and solution-based sales conversations
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion and long-term strategic partnerships
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product availability and a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, pipeline data, and account notes through CRM tools

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience required
  • Demonstrated experience selling into manufacturing environments required
  • Background in industrial distribution, MRO, or manufacturing sales strongly preferred
  • Exposure to medical device or life sciences sales is a significant plus
  • Comfortable with territory-based sales and travel, including potential cross-border travel into Canada
  • Must hold, or be able to obtain, a valid passport
  • Strong relationship-building, account management, and business development skills
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a competitive drive toward uncapped earning potential
