[Commercial HVAC] Account Manager | $60K-$80K + Commission

Location: Redmond, WA

Our client, a leader in providing HVAC services and projects, is actively seeking a proficient HVAC Commercial Account Manager to enhance their team. This role focuses on selling commercial HVAC preventative maintenance services and requires a candidate with a strong background in business development.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for cultivating a pipeline of service and preventative maintenance contracts across private, public, and commercial sectors. The role demands a deep understanding of HVAC technical knowledge, local codes, specifications, and permitting processes, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals with a passion for developing sustainable and customer-centric HVAC solutions.

HVAC Account Manager Job Responsibilities


  • Drive business development for service and preventative maintenance contracts in private, public, and commercial projects.
  • Leverage a strong, demonstrable network for business development purposes.
  • Seek and bid on HVAC service contracts in private, plan spec, and design-build sectors.
  • Demonstrate thorough HVAC technical knowledge, including familiarity with local codes, specifications, and permitting.
  • Prepare comprehensive bids and proposals, including detailed estimating.
  • Develop customer and sustainability-centric HVAC solutions and systems.
  • Determine budget costs for systems and prepare detailed bids and estimates.
  • Collaborate with team members to prepare estimates and proposals, aiming to develop the best solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a CRM system for efficient management of accounts and projects.

Qualifications


  • HVAC, refrigeration, piping, sheet metal, or relevant trade qualification.
  • At least 5 years of related HVAC or mechanical experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience in the field.
  • Valid Washington State driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Strong commercial HVAC experience.
  • Proficiency in developing efficient, sustainable HVAC solutions.
  • Excellent skills in budget estimation and proposal preparation.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
