Our client, a seasoned player in the lifting, rigging, crane, and marine project supply industry, is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating the efforts of the fabrication, customer service, and production/logistics teams.
With a focus on employee development and managing a crew of strong personalities, this position requires exceptional leadership, operational experience, and significant people-handling skills. The candidate will be involved in the production of heavy lifting equipment, wire rope, rigging, winches, and other products vital to the marine, timber, and construction industries.
Assistant Branch Manager Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the oversight of daily team planning, meetings, and coordination between fabrication, customer service, and production/logistics teams.
- Review and adjust schedules as needed, ensuring material availability and work completion.
- Follow through on work done and guarantee that customer needs are met efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with invoicing, fabrication, and other teams.
- Utilize leadership skills to foster employee development within the team.
- Play a key role in the company’s expansion and modernization efforts.
Qualifications
- Industry experience in lifting, rigging, crane, or related fields is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills and competency in handling team and human interactions.
- Patience, responsibility, and a positive mental attitude.
- Mechanical aptitude or experience is a plus.
