Forklift Technician | $45-$60/hr DOE

Forklift Technician Job Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts to identify and address mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot forklift problems to determine the most effective and efficient repair solutions.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication, to extend equipment lifespan.
- Repair or replace faulty components and ensure all safety features are in proper working order.
- Collaborate with the parts department to order necessary replacement parts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on forklifts to minimize accidents and injuries.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities for documentation and analysis purposes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working on forklifts or heavy capital equipment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues effectively.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and standards in equipment maintenance and repair.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and parts departments.
