[Mechanical Contracting] Service Technician | $75K-$110K DOE
Location: Bothell, WA
Our client, a reputable company specializing in elevator services and repair, is actively seeking an experienced Service Technician to join their team.
This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals with a background in technical trades such as HVAC, electricians, construction, and more, to apply their skills in a specialized field. The ideal candidate will have experience in elevator troubleshooting, installation, and repairs, coupled with a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.
Elevator Service Technician Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and in-field training for elevator services and repairs.
- Troubleshoot, install, and repair elevator systems efficiently and effectively.
- Adhere to all electrical codes and safety standards during service calls.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills to address customer needs and technical challenges.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate service tasks and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Work independently to prioritize workload and manage service calls.
- Utilize hand and electrical tools skillfully in the maintenance and repair of elevator systems.
Qualifications
- Technical trade experience, ideally in HVAC, electrician work, construction, or related fields.
- Experience in elevator troubleshooting, installation, and repairs is highly valued.
- Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A Certified Elevator Technician License is not required but beneficial.
- Proficient in the use of hand and electrical tools.
- Although not required, a minimum of 3 years of experience in elevator maintenance is preferred.
- Demonstrated reliability in consistent work attendance.
