[Heavy Machinery] Business Development Representative
Compensation: $130K+ OTE
Location: Medford, OR to Sacramento, CA
Our client, a leading provider in the truck equipment industry, is currently seeking a Business Development Representative. The company offers a comprehensive range of products and services, including Mechanics Trucks, Service Bodies, Dump Trucks, Specialty Trucks, Cranes, Lift Gates, and Cranes. In addition, they provide comprehensive services such as Field Service, Paint & Body Shop, Technical & Warranty Support, and Parts. As a Business Development Representative, you’ll play a crucial role in identifying and developing new business opportunities, conducting sales presentations, building relationships with potential customers, and achieving sales goals. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong understanding of the truck equipment industry and exceptional sales and communication skills.
Business Development Representative Job Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the truck equipment industry.
- Conduct sales presentations to potential clients, demonstrating the benefits and value of our client’s truck equipment solutions.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our client’s truck equipment products and services.
- Lead contract negotiations and close sales deals.
- Use CRM software to track leads, manage opportunities, and maintain accurate sales records.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in relationship sales with an emphasis on business development, sales, or account management.
- Strong understanding of the trucking industry and familiarity with truck equipment products.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as needed.
