[Seafood] Sales Representative

Compensation:  DOE + Uncapped Commissions

Location:   San Francisco, CA

We are delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a talented Sales Representative to join our client, a leading provider of fresh, frozen, and live seafood products, including Dungeness Crab, Mussels, Oysters, Clams, Sole, Salmon, Black Cod, Lingcod, and Rockfish. This role is integral in driving the company’s sales and growth, offering a competitive package with partial medical, dental, vision, and 401k benefits, along with paid time off.

Seafood Sales Job Responsibilities


  • Direct sales to regional restaurants and retail grocery stores, ensuring the highest margin for products.
  • Sell volume to new wholesalers such as processors, manufacturers, other distributors, brokers, and broadliners.
  • Seek new business opportunities through cold calls, warm calls, referrals, and centers of influence.
  • Obtain approval to sell to corporate retail grocery, food service, restaurants, and distributors, and sell to each branch or division to ensure product distribution in as many locations as possible.

Qualifications


  • Experience selling to at least one of the existing sales channels.
  • Must be located within driving distance to the plant/headquarters to pick up samples if needed and establish personal relationships with Production/Plant Management, Owners, and Key Personnel (Operations Managers).
