(Millwork & Doors) Outside Sales Representative | $80K-$90K OTE
Our client is a leading provider of high-quality lumber, millwork, doors, trusses, and other building materials. They are currently seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join their team in Auburn, WA. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving sales and expanding their customer base in the construction marketplace.
Outside Sales Representative Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and builders to generate new business and increase sales
- Identify potential projects and customers through market research, networking, and cold calling
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective customers
- Monitor sales activity, prepare reports, and make recommendations to improve sales performance
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments
- Proven sales success in the construction marketplace, with experience in selling lumber, millwork, doors, trusses, or related products
- Strong knowledge of the construction marketplace and processes involved in procuring building materials
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and other sales-related software
