[Seafood] Operations Director / VP

Our client is a leading company specializing in the production and local sourcing of seafood products. They are currently seeking an Operations Director/VP to assist the Company President in overseeing their multiple Seafood/Fishery Plants.

Operations Director Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Company President in overseeing multiple Seafood / Fishery Plants.
• Manage General Managers of each facility, the Manager of inbound products and the Logistics Managers.
• Oversee the coordination of multiple facilities and their outbound product planning shipping.
• Experience in Process Improvement, data mining/analysis, plant automation equipment integration, manufacturing process flow optimization, ROI reporting, lean six sigma methods, etc.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing either Seafood or Fishery Plants/Facilities
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in overseeing inbound and outbound products
• At least 2 years of experience in managing mid-level managers such as Logistics Managers, Transportation Managers, Sanitation, QA Management, Operations/General Manager etc.
• At least 10 years of experience in the seafood industry (not necessarily in management)
• Must be proactive and solution-oriented
• Willingness to relocate
