HVAC Service Manager

Compensation: $180K-$200K DOE

Location:   Seattle, WA

Our client is a leading provider of HVAC and Commercial HVAC services. They are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager who thrives on leading teams, solving problems, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who takes initiative and ensures smooth operations and on-time project delivery. This role is strictly commercial.

HVAC Service Manager Job Responsibilities


  • Oversee daily service operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, dispatch, and troubleshooting of heating, cooling, and ventilation mechanical systems in commercial and institutional buildings.
  • Lead budget management, sales initiatives, and financial forecasting to ensure service operations align with company goals.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate work to ensure smooth operations and on-time project delivery.
  • Maintain proactive and positive relationships with customers, vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications


  • 4+ years of experience in HVAC Service, involving knowledge of heating, cooling, and ventilation mechanical systems serving commercial and institutional buildings.
  • Experience managing a successful service team, developing team members, driving new business, and troubleshooting mechanical systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, project management, and organizational abilities to handle high-volume responsibilities.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude with analytical skills and the ability to explain technical information to non-technical individuals.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Bonus points for experience with service management software, dispatch systems, or data-driven process improvement.
