Benefits Account Manager

Compensation: $80K-$100K DOE

Location:   Meridian, ID

Our client, a National Brokerage with a rich history spanning over 25 years, is seeking an experienced Benefits Account Manager. With more than 3,000 professionals across 200 offices, they offer Commercial, Personal & Group Benefits lines of insurance, as well as Group financial services. The Benefits Account Manager will primarily focus on Small Market, Fully & Level Insured Book of accounts. This role is service-oriented and aims to retain accounts. The company offers competitive compensation, performance bonuses, and fully employer-paid Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k Benefits with PTO.

[JOB TITLE] Job Responsibilities


  • Setting pre-renewal meetings
  • Conducting plan reviews
  • Consulting with clients on potential plan changes and getting quotes & estimates
  • Marketing & negotiating with carriers, when needed
  • Creating and delivering presentations
  • Conducting open enrollments and binding coverages
  • Managing carrier administration and negotiations
  • Providing Benefits administration for clients/accounts

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience managing Employee Benefits Accounts within an independent agency
  • Must hold Idaho Life & Health Licenses
  • Must live within commuting distance of Boise Office
  • Excellent team collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer/client service experience
