Benefits Account Manager
Compensation: $80K-$100K DOE
Location: Meridian, ID
Our client, a National Brokerage with a rich history spanning over 25 years, is seeking an experienced Benefits Account Manager. With more than 3,000 professionals across 200 offices, they offer Commercial, Personal & Group Benefits lines of insurance, as well as Group financial services. The Benefits Account Manager will primarily focus on Small Market, Fully & Level Insured Book of accounts. This role is service-oriented and aims to retain accounts. [JOB TITLE] Job Responsibilities
- Setting pre-renewal meetings
- Conducting plan reviews
- Consulting with clients on potential plan changes and getting quotes & estimates
- Marketing & negotiating with carriers, when needed
- Creating and delivering presentations
- Conducting open enrollments and binding coverages
- Managing carrier administration and negotiations
- Providing Benefits administration for clients/accounts
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience managing Employee Benefits Accounts within an independent agency
- Must hold Idaho Life & Health Licenses
- Must live within commuting distance of Boise Office
- Excellent team collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer/client service experience
