Hydraulic Cylinder Mechanic | $32-$38/hr DOE

Location: Seattle, WA

Our client, a leader in the field of crane repair, marine crane repair, design & fabrication, field service, winch, and cylinder repair, is seeking a dedicated Hydraulic Cylinder Mechanic to join their dynamic team.

This position involves performing maintenance, repairs, and installations of hydraulic systems and components primarily at customer sites. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of hydraulic systems through meticulous work and adherence to safety protocols. Hydraulic Mechanic Job Responsibilities


  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations of hydraulic systems and components.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Utilize hand, pneumatic, and precision tools effectively and safely.
  • Lift, push, pull, and move equipment weighing up to 70 pounds as necessary.
  • Climb, kneel, twist, and bend in varied environments to access and work on hydraulic systems.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities and complete service-related paperwork.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues with hydraulic systems.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members to coordinate service activities and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to company and governmental safety regulations and hazardous material disposal procedures.
  • Maintain a clean work area to ensure a safe and organized environment.

Qualifications


  • 3-4 years of marine industry experience.
  • Hydraulic experience (training on cylinders provided).
  • Solid mechanical knowledge/experience.
  • Familiarity with cylinders is highly advantageous.
