Project Manager

Compensation: $100K-$115K DOE

Location:   Eugene, OR

The Project Manager will play a pivotal role within the organization, managing project timelines, budgets, and ensuring successful completion of all projects.

Project Manager Job Responsibilities


  • Meeting performance standards and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Researching, preparing, and presenting proposals.
  • Preparing cost control and expense reports.
  • Scheduling and tracking job progress.
  • Reviewing design drawings, estimating and writing change orders.
  • Preparing monthly billings, projections and spreadsheet reports.
  • Writing subcontracts, purchase orders, field questions, and job write-ups.
  • Supervising the preparation of submittals, operations and maintenance manuals, air balance logs and as-builts.
  • Developing positive relationships with customers, field personnel, office staff, and suppliers.
  • Providing timely and constructive communication with staff and customers regarding project status and concerns.
  • Completing job close-out procedures.
  • Ensuring project safety is managed effectively, proactively and consistently.
  • Working with Windows, Excel, Word and Microsoft Project programs.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications


  • Minimum five years project management or project engineer experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in mechanical engineering and construction is a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Proven track record of successful projects and satisfied customer references.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals and estimates.
  • Capable of managing mechanical projects ranging from $100,000 to $2,000,000 plus in size.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
  • Self-motivated with excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills.
  • Ability to consistently set goals and meet deadlines.
  • A valid license and clean driving record are required.
