HVAC Department Manager
Compensation: $175K OTE
Location: Kent, WA
Our client specializes in energy efficiency services for residential and commercial properties. As a trusted provider of insulation, air duct cleaning, and HVAC installation and maintenance, they offer comprehensive energy-saving solutions tailored to each customer’s needs. They are currently seeking an HVAC Department Manager to oversee field operations, ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently while supporting and developing the team.
HVAC Department Manager Job Responsibilities
- Manage 30-50 field team members across HVAC, Insulation, and Duct Cleaning departments.
- Oversee project scheduling, material procurement, and resource allocation to keep jobs on track.
- Train and onboard new hires, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge for success.
- Develop a leadership structure by mentoring team leads or foremen to improve efficiency and communication.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards on all projects.
- Provide ongoing support to field teams, addressing challenges and streamlining workflow.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with experience managing field operations.
- Ability to balance daily scheduling and logistics with long-term process improvements.
- Hands-on approach to training and developing team members.
- Experience in HVAC, insulation, or duct cleaning operations is a plus.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and team support.
