Field Technician
Compensation: $80K-$110K DOE
Location: Sumner, WA
Our client is a leading provider of custom polyurethane reactive injection molding equipment.
They are currently in need of a Field Technician who can bring together expertise in mechanical, electrical, electronic, and chemical fields to service, troubleshoot, install, and repair custom pumps and related equipment. This equipment plays a crucial role in the production of various products like car parts, cold box containers, and prefabricated walls, among others.
Field Technician Job Responsibilities
- Service, troubleshoot, install, and repair custom pumps and related equipment.
- Travel to various locations for service and installation work.
- Work with highly technical, measurement and ingredient-specific processes.
- Communicate effectively with customers.
- Stay organized and manage tasks effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with polyurethane manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of precision, custom systems that supply raw material mix for processing.
- Experience with controls, dispensers, flow meters, and similar equipment.
- Familiarity with chemicals used in polyurethane production such as isocyanates and catalysts.
- Electrical knowledge for adapting control systems (60Hz vs. 50Hz).
- Excellent customer-facing communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.
