Account Manager
Compensation: $30-$36/hr DOE
Location: Kent, WA
Our client, a leading provider of Electrical Supply products and services, is actively seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Account Manager to join their team. Account Manager Job Responsibilities
- Manage assigned customer accounts and ensure a consistently positive experience.
- Write customer orders and discuss pricing and product availability.
- Develop processes to keep customers organized and informed, including forecasting support.
- Participate in ongoing training related to electrical distribution equipment and lighting.
- Provide purchasing insights based on customer conversations and relationships.
- Assist walk-in customers with product questions and handle cash/credit transactions.
- Support telephone sales (answer calls, take messages, route inquiries, process orders).
- Prepare and pick sales orders to assist the warehouse team.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives, events, and customer communications.
- Maintain showroom displays and literature.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service and/or administrative experience is required (1+ years strongly preferred)– retail, hospitality, restaurant, etc. preferred, but office experience will be considered as well.
- Computer proficiency is required.
- Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service and handle multiple priorities at once is essential.
- Must have stellar multitasking and prioritizing ability, as well as a strong sense of urgency.
- Must have stellar communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be organized, possess strong problem-solving skills.
- Must show initiative, self-motivation, perseverance.
