Account Manager

Compensation: $30-$36/hr DOE

Location:   Kent, WA

Our client, a leading provider of Electrical Supply products and services, is actively seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Account Manager to join their team. Account Manager Job Responsibilities


  • Manage assigned customer accounts and ensure a consistently positive experience.
  • Write customer orders and discuss pricing and product availability.
  • Develop processes to keep customers organized and informed, including forecasting support.
  • Participate in ongoing training related to electrical distribution equipment and lighting.
  • Provide purchasing insights based on customer conversations and relationships.
  • Assist walk-in customers with product questions and handle cash/credit transactions.
  • Support telephone sales (answer calls, take messages, route inquiries, process orders).
  • Prepare and pick sales orders to assist the warehouse team.
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives, events, and customer communications.
  • Maintain showroom displays and literature.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications


  • Previous customer service and/or administrative experience is required (1+ years strongly preferred)– retail, hospitality, restaurant, etc. preferred, but office experience will be considered as well.
  • Computer proficiency is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service and handle multiple priorities at once is essential.
  • Must have stellar multitasking and prioritizing ability, as well as a strong sense of urgency.
  • Must have stellar communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be organized, possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • Must show initiative, self-motivation, perseverance.
