Sales Trainee
Compensation: $42K-$48K DOE
Location: Garden Grove, CA
Our client operates in the Fresh & Frozen Seafood industry, offering a comprehensive package, including medical, dental, and vision care insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid sick leave, holidays, and vacation.
They are seeking a dedicated individual to join their Management or Sales Training program. This opportunity is perfect for candidates with a management or sales inclination aiming to develop their skills within a growing company. The selected individual will be introduced to all aspects of the business, providing the foundation to either build a solid client portfolio or to obtain promotion upon completion of the training.
Sales Trainee Job Responsibilities
- Undertake an 18-36 month on-the-job training program, depending on the speed of learning.
- Participate in rotations across various departments, including warehouse, production, accounts receivable, purchasing, customer service (account management), inventory management, and business development.
- Learn the operations of each department and understand the flow of the company’s business.
No prior industry experience is needed as all necessary tools for success will be provided. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, diverse abilities, a small business mentality, and live relatively close to the office as the role is fully in-office.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree – related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Current, valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Sales or Customer Service experience
- Experience in Wholesale Meats or Seafood
- Leadership Skills
- Self-Motivated and Team Oriented
- Competitive with an Entrepreneurial Spirit
- Effective Problem-Solving Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office; MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook
The compensation range for this position is $42,000 to $48,000 annually.
