[Construction Supply] Outside Sales Representative

Compensation: $100K+ OTE

Location:   Woodinville, WA

Our client is a seasoned player in the construction industry, supplying fasteners, tools, and hardware to contractors for over 40 years. This respected company boasts an extensive retail and wholesale distribution network across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. A fantastic opportunity has opened up for an experienced Outside Sales Representative with a background in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth within a regional sales territory by building relationships with framers, subcontractors, and general contractors. This role is ideally suited to someone with hands-on knowledge of fasteners, tools, and construction hardware looking to make a significant impact in their career.

Outside Sales Job Responsibilities


  • Build and grow a book of business with local framers, GCs, and subcontractors
  • Manage assigned house accounts and grow them within the first 90 days
  • Identify and close new business opportunities through cold calls, site visits, and referrals
  • Provide product knowledge and recommendations on fasteners, hardware, compressors, and tools
  • Spend initial onboarding period (2–3 months) working in the warehouse and behind the retail counter to learn operations, logistics, and product handling
  • Collaborate with inside sales and delivery teams to ensure smooth service and delivery
  • Represent the company at job sites, industry events, and client meetings

Qualifications


  • Experience in construction or sales to GCs, framers, or subcontractors
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major plus
  • Proven track record in sales and relationship management
  • Willingness to gain hands-on experience in the warehouse
  • Independent and motivated with the ability to manage own schedule and territory
  • Trade knowledge and hustle are essential – this role is not for fresh graduates or candidates with only general B2B sales experience
