Estimator
Compensation: $22-$35/hr DOE

Our client is a leading provider of Fire Sprinkler and Fire Alarm Systems with a broad range of services including design and installation of new systems, special projects, tenant improvements, inspection, testing, maintenance, as well as service and repair. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package including company paid medical, dental, vision, and a 401k plan. We are currently seeking a dynamic Estimator to join this high-performing team.
Estimator Job Responsibilities
- Communicate accurately and effectively with customers and internal stakeholders on project scope and estimates.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for emergency repairs and system upgrades, including labor, materials, equipment, and timelines.
- Source and price specialty sprinkler system components and parts, while maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure availability and competitive pricing.
- Assess fire sprinkler system deficiencies to determine scope of repair work needed, working closely with technicians and project managers to gather accurate field information.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, material costs, and labor rates in the company’s system to support project tracking and future bidding.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure estimated costs align with actual project execution, refining estimating practices based on field feedback.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of estimation, pricing, and/or purchasing experience
- 2+ years in the Fire Sprinkler industry
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (particularly Excel), Google Suite (particularly GSheets), and estimating software
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Ability to develop, maintain and repeat standardized and multi-step processes
- Positive energy that ignites team spirit and collaboration
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary ranging from $40,000 to $75,000 per year or $20 to $35 per hour based on experience.
