[Rental Equipment] Mechanic | $22-$45/hr DOE
Location: Clackamas, OR
Our client’s company specializes in providing rental equipment such as Dust Collectors, Industrial Vacuums, Abrasive Blasting Equipment, Electric Heaters, and used equipment. They are currently seeking a Rental Equipment Mechanic/Driver to join their team.
As a Rental Equipment Mechanic/Driver, you will work alongside the current team to inspect, repair, and maintain rental equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition for the next project. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing information on equipment features, operations, and safety guidelines to customers, as well as coordinating equipment delivery and pick-up.
Rental Equipment Mechanic Job Responsibilities
- Check equipment in and repair as needed in preparation for the next project Provide information on equipment features, operations, and safety guidelines to customers
- Deliver equipment to customers and pick up equipment as required
- Inspect and maintain rental equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
- Coordinate equipment delivery and pick-up
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating a variety of commercial vehicles, including pallet jacks, box trucks, dump trucks, and limos
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
