As the General Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all operations and activities related to windows, ensuring the division’s success and profitability.
Windows General Manager Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all operations and activities for the windows division
- Ensure materials, financials, goals, best practices, and procedures are in place for division production
- Review results at all levels, analyze data, and create plans to increase profitable activity
- Conduct financial analysis, manage P&L, oversee inventory, production, manufacturing, and installation
- Handle credit, resolve customer issues, and lead division initiatives and targets
Qualifications
- Proven success in operations within the construction marketplace
- Strong knowledge of construction products, processes, and codes – Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in math, geometry, and analytical skills
- Experience with Lean principles or similar certifications is beneficial
- Ability to build strong relationships and focus on customer, company, and employee needs
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with familiarity in Builder Trend being advantageous
