[Utilities / Earthwork] Civil Estimator | $120K-$200K OTE
Location: Woodinville, WA
Our client is a premier Earthwork, Utilities, and Concrete contractor serving the greater Puget Sound region. They are currently seeking a highly motivated individual with experience estimating Civil projects as well as business development and networking ability.
Civil Estimator Job Responsibilities
As a Civil Estimator, your responsibilities will include plan and spec review, take-off, entry into HCSS estimating software, final bid proposal to the customer, as well as bid tracking and follow-up.
Qualifications
You should have experience with Bluebeam or other take-off software, be proficient in understanding Agtek take-off reports, and skilled with HCSS Heavy Bid software. Experience with MS Project is preferred.
It is important to have a comprehensive understanding of plans and specifications, effective communication skills with owners, subcontractors, and suppliers, and the ability to work well within a close-knit team. Attention to detail and organizational skills are also essential.
A degree in Construction Management is preferred, along with at least 5 years of earthwork estimating experience or a highly referenced work history. Sales experience is also preferred.
