Trader Job Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a book of business ranging from $500K in GP up to $2M in GP or more.
- Engage in international trading activities
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, trading back-to-back loads or managing strategic inventories throughout the US to distribute to OEMs, manufacturers, or distributors.
- Collaborate closely with the team and maintain open communication for clarity and guidance.
Qualifications
- Established trader with a niche, preferably from a trading company, seeking a more favorable split.
- Ability to manage and grow a substantial book of business.
- Experience in lumber trading, packing trading, or the export of food on an international scale.
- Strong understanding of strategic inventories and distribution to OEMs, manufacturers, or distributors.
- Desire for remote work and the ability to manage oneself effectively.
