[Sheet Metal Materials] Project Manager
Compensation: $135K-$140K OTE
Location: Tacoma, WA
Our client specializes in custom sheet metal work, roofing, and siding, delivering high-quality Division 7 construction projects. From small residential structures to large-scale commercial endeavors, their work spans roofing, waterproofing, and thermal insulation. They are seeking a skilled and adaptable Project Manager to oversee projects of varying sizes and complexities. This role is vital to ensuring that all phases—from planning and execution to completion—are handled efficiently while meeting quality standards and deadlines.
As a Project Manager, you will balance 2-3 projects at a time, with values ranging from smaller residential builds to commercial projects worth up to $3 million. This position demands a combination of strong organizational abilities and hands-on expertise to navigate the diverse scope of work.
Sheet Metal Project Manager Job Responsibilities
- Manage 2-3 projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Oversee all phases of Division 7 construction projects, including roofing, waterproofing, and thermal insulation.
- Coordinate planning, execution, and completion processes to meet quality and safety standards.
- Maintain close communication with clients, subcontractors, and on-site teams.
- Address and resolve project challenges with effective solutions.
- Balance the diverse demands of both small-scale and large-scale projects.
Qualifications
- Strong background in Division 7 construction, with expertise in roofing, waterproofing, and related systems.
- Demonstrated project management experience, including leading multiple projects of varying scopes.
- Field experience with hands-on construction involvement (“with pouches on”).
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective leadership and communication abilities, with a focus on collaboration.
