Our client, a well-established independent insurance agency specializing in Commercial, Group Benefits, and Personal Lines Insurance, is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join their team. This is a 100% service-based role focused on client retention, cross-selling, and up-selling within existing accounts—no sales, cold calling, or quotas required.
Personal Lines Account Manager Job Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships
- Handle policy renewals, audits, endorsements, and policy binding
- Market carriers for competitive quotes and process certificates
- Issue ID cards and assist clients with policy-related inquiries
- Support clients with claims as needed
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty and Life & Health/Disability licenses in Oregon
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an independent insurance agency
- Strong familiarity with standard and preferred carriers such as Safeco, Mutual of Enumclaw, Pemco, and Liberty Mutual
- Proven ability to manage personal lines accounts in a high-service environment
