Repair Technician Job Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and repairing office equipment including copiers, printers, fax machines, etc., covering technical diagnostics, software downloads, connectivity issues, installation, removal, and retrofit tasks.
- Managing call activity efficiently and performing call close administrative requirements diligently.
- Taking responsibility for customer satisfaction through adept customer management skills, and engaging the support of other team members when necessary.
- Adhering to proper escalation procedures to resolve customer issues promptly.
- Providing customer training on assigned products to enhance their user experience.
- Being accountable for assigned company assets like parts, tools, communication, and computing devices.
- Assisting other service representatives as required with call support, knowledge sharing, and problem resolution, promoting a collaborative work environment.
- Taking ownership of customer and technical problem resolution with minimal support required.
- Managing and planning activity to ensure a productive workday and successful customer engagements.
- Handling a full assigned workload territory with minimal assistance, showcasing a high level of independence and initiative.
Qualifications
- Experience with Canon, Kyocera products preferred, but not required as on-the-job training is provided.
- Break/fix and technical experience preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Positive outlook, good attitude, outgoing, self-motivated, and committed to building and maintaining strong customer relations.
- Ability to identify problems in straightforward situations, and make sound decisions using standard procedures.
- Ability to work within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision.
