Our client is seeking a National Accounts Executive to join their team. Their products are widely distributed across various industries such as food packaging, pharmaceuticals, food service, and industrial use. As a National Accounts Executive, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts on a coast-to-coast basis.
National Accounts Executive Job Responsibilities
- Prospect and build relationships with key accounts in the food packaging, pharmaceutical, food service, and industrial sectors.
- Supervise and support regional managers to drive sales and increase profitability.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to analyze performance metrics.
- Utilize effective negotiation skills and foster long-term relationships with clients.
- Stay updated with industry trends, product knowledge, and sales strategies within the stretch film and plastics industry.
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring client requirements are met and collaborating with production management.
- Identify and attract prospective strategic customers, establishing productive professional relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
- Collect and analyze customer and industry sales data and trends.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to generate profitable sales.
- 5 or more years of successful experience in National Distribution Sales.
- Experience within the stretch film or plastics industry.
- Collaborative mindset, working effectively with high-performing sales teams.
- Client service-oriented attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel nationwide, including air travel and driving.
