[Lumber] Outside Sales Representative | $80K-$90K OTE
Location: Spanaway, WA
Our client, a leader in the building materials industry, specializes in providing high-quality lumber, millwork, doors, trusses, windows, and kits. They are renowned for their comprehensive product range and expertise in meeting the needs of both residential and commercial builders in the rapidly growing South Puget Sound-area marketplace. They are currently seeking an ambitious Outside Sales Representative specializing in lumber to join their professional team.
This role is pivotal in driving the company’s revenue growth by leveraging the most aggressive compensation plan in the country. The ideal candidate will bring proven success in construction supply sales, demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the construction marketplace and the supply needs of contractors and builders.
Lumber Outside Sales Job Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new projects and customers within the residential and commercial building sectors.
- Utilize MS Office Suite and Builder Trend-type software to manage customer relationships and sales processes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding and meeting their needs.
- Drive sales by offering solutions that leverage our comprehensive range of building materials.
- Work closely with the team to ensure a cohesive sales strategy and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proven sales success in the construction marketplace.
- Extensive knowledge of building materials, including lumber, trusses, and the construction supply chain.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; knowledge of Builder Trend software is a plus.
- Exceptional ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- A customer-needs-focused sales perspective.
