Lighting Technical Service Technician
Compensation: $70K-$80K DOE
Location: Auburn, WA
Our client’s company specializes in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of airfield lighting systems and related equipment. They are currently seeking a Technical Service Technician to join their team.
This role involves a blend of technical expertise, sales responsibilities, and extensive travel to airports and military installations.
Lighting Service Technician Job Responsibilities
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on airfield lighting systems
- Provide remote and on-site technical support
- Assist with installations and contribute to sales activities
- Organize and maintain accurate records
- Travel up to 80% for technical and sales-related tasks
- Perform maintenance on the P606 sealant pump
Qualifications
- Mechanical background with at least two years of experience in electrical or mechanical systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on administrative accuracy and precise record-keeping
- Basic knowledge of airfield lighting systems and LOTO procedures preferred
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Suite and QuickBooks
- Sales experience or a strong interest in developing sales skills
- Ability to pass background checks for access to military installations
